Become a Trustee at GGLT
The Trustees of the Gatehouse Green Learning Trust are looking to appoint two Trustees who share their vision, values and ethos to complement the Trust Board. We are a very diverse Board, and it is important that the Trustees share our commitment to outstanding education for all our children and young people; support and actively promote equality, inclusion and diversity in all we do. We are focused on delivering continuous school improvement, as well as looking after the health and wellbeing of our children and staff, underpinned by a culture of safeguarding. The skills and interests we are want to achieve our ambitions are:
In return, you would be helping to make a difference to the future life chances of children and young people across our Trust and our communities.
The role of Trustees can be challenging but also very rewarding. In giving something back to our communities, Trustees gain valuable new skills, build on existing skills, receive free local and national training and support to carry out their roles. It may also open up opportunities for personal professional development.
We would not expect you to have a working knowledge of the education sector or our schools, but what is important is your transferrable skills and a commitment to our vison and values.
